Sunny summer picks from the Rex London Sale

There is nothing quite like the thrill of a good bargain and the Rex London summer sale has some incredible deals this year! So as to not get too carried away, I try to plan how I will use each and every one of my precious purchases! Here are my picks of the sale (all coming in at under £30!!) in which I definitely had summery things in mind!
A Mediterranean look
These storage tins are so handy - we use them for all sorts in our home, but in the kitchen they are especially useful. They could be used as utensil pots, cutlery holders and herbs pots. We use ours for basil as I can’t resist it added to Friday night pizzas and delicious tomato pasta sauces.

Now that summer has arrived so have our picnics! These bags are perfect for popping in sliced fruit, popcorn or homemade treats. They are also fantastic for using in packed lunches - we love that you can see what food you’ve put inside so there’s no mixing up of snacks in the fridge!

Mini highlighters
Does the novelty of new stationery ever wear off I wonder?! These cute little animal highlighters are such a lovely set and a wonderful small gift for little ones. Teamed with a notebook they could also be a great addition to an activity pack for long travel journeys or simply as a summer holiday boredom buster.

Stocking up!
Now, it is early, but these fun little things that add to the festive spirit are often easy to forget when the time comes, so why not stock up now? These growing fish are pure magic for little ones and the perfect stocking
filler, and you don’t need to remember to feed them! Rainbow modelling clay is also such a lovely little gift to stash away either for Christmas or when you need a last minute present.

Post-holiday refresh
Whenever I come back from holiday I always feel the need for a refresh of the house, and this recycled rug is a really affordable way to do that. The colours are so lovely, it adds a beautiful bohemian look to your decor.

On the holiday theme, these toothbrushes are a great buy to take with you on your travels. Being bamboo they are a great eco choice too. The coloured bristles and handles are also really helpful for knowing whose brush is whose!
