Feltcraft Cushion Butterfly

Bought this is a starter to sewing and found it really useful. It's basic but you end up with a really nice cushion :) I did find that some of the diagrams of the stitches weren't very clear and had to look them up online to make sure.

<strong>Butterfly Cushion</strong> bought as pressie for the wife. Everything you need, even the holes were there in the fabric. Not quite as nice as the Rabbit. A <strong>Bear Cushion</strong> would be nice

I really love these cushions, I have bought the whole set of three. They are fairly simple to make, not like some hardcore sewing projects. :O But perhaps a little advanced for a child under the age of nine or ten to do independantly. The instructions are probably as clear as they can be. They don't really teach you how to do back stitch and blanket stitch so you would need to learn/know that already. You get everything you need in the pack including a little pink plastic needle, which does the job fine. Once finished the cushions are about 9x9inches. So fairly small and cute. Won't take long to make, less than half an hour ---if you know what your doing.
