Just received in the post this morning, very well packaged. Beautiful stand but quite a bit smaller than I was expecting - I'd not really read the dimensions. It is only a little bigger than a large coffee cup, so would have to be used for either some very small cakes/biscuits (maybe petit fours), or a centre piece for something very special.
