Brilliant blogs for ladies, by ladies

There are some truly great lady bloggers out there: they travel the world, bake, craft and generally challenge themselves to do awesome things. Here are some of our favourite blogs for ladies, by ladies!

40 Before 30

After finishing her law degree, Jayne just wanted to see the world. She travelled for nine glorious months and then got a jetsetting job, so she still hasn't stopped. Her plan is to visit 40 countries before she hits 30!

Join this enthusiastic blogger for her last few countries (although we're sure finishing the challenge won't stop her) and, if you're planning a trip abroad yourself, check out her tips from flying to food to shopping.

We particularly love the photos from her trip to Gambia. She really looked the part dressed in local skirts and headscarves, and she even took lessons in curry-making at a cookery school. Yum!

A Girl Called Jack

The girl called Jack is the ultimate multitasking lady. She's a mother, writer, charity campaigner and she blogs about family-friendly recipes that will only cost you pennies.

It all started when, two years ago, she found herself having to raise her son without being able to afford enough food. If you want somebody who knows how to be frugal, Jack has been there and come out the other side, writing inspiring articles along the way.

We really love her recent charity curry night. Jack cooked up loads of tasty curries and raised £315 for refugees in Syria!

A Sensible Heart

Camilla was an avid blog-reader and eventually decided to have a go at blogging herself. We're certainly glad she did, because A Sensible Heart is the result!

Here she tries her hand at all sorts of things - including baking, DIY, fashion and photography - and her blog is a haven of beauty and peace. Take a look at her outfit posts and interiors shots for a dose of style with a vintage twist.

We especially like her guide to making vanilla scented candles. It only takes a little wax and some essential oils to handmake a gorgeously sweet gift for the person you love.

There's still whale watching and driving lessons to look forward to, all presented with dreamy photography and amusing updates. This blog is perfect if you love pretty design, outdoor adventures and yummy recipes.

We really love her recipe for homemade dog treats. They're shaped like little bones and they certainly went down a treat with her own puppy!

We can't get enough of her home inspiration posts. If she could fill her home with chalkboards and white floorboards, and paint her front door pink, she'd do it in a second!
